Lesia Williams-Hemphill, Northern Region Director
Lesia Williams-Hemphill is serving her 4th consecutive term as Alderwoman of the Town of Vaiden. She was first elected in 2009 and has served as Vice-Mayor for the past 2 terms. She received a bachelor’s degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies of the University of Mississippi. She has been a member of the Mississippi Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials since 2010, serving as Secretary and currently the 1st Vice President. She is the owner/operator of Lesia’s Hair Designs LLC and currently working for the Mississippi Action for Progress (MAPS). She is a member of the Heroines of Jericho #180 of Winona, MS.
